About 247 EPCs

We started providing Energy Performance Certificates from the launch of the 'EPC' back in 2007. We at 247 EPC now boast a team of fully qualified Domestic Energy Assessors (DEAs) that enable us to provide Energy Performance Certificates both locally and nationally. A survey would normally be booked within 48 hours of contact and with our out-of-hours, weekend, and early evening appointments being offered and many of our Energy Assessors now using advanced iPad software enabling them to submit all their findings from the property giving you or your Estate Agent/Letting Agent the report within a matter of minutes of leaving the property. EPCs can only be produced by an accredited Energy Assessor. The Energy Assessor (DEA) will need to understand the internal layout of the building, its construction, what it's used for (i.e. commercial or residential), and the services, lighting, and controls used. This is to understand the energy demands of each individual space. This information is fed into a Government-approved software package which in turn produces the certificate. All Energy Performance Certificates are registered and stored in the national register (www.epcregister.co.uk) with a unique reference number called a UPRN.
